Part Used: Leaf. Uva ursi is generally used short-term as an anti-infective unless as part of a larger formula. Acute urinary tract infections in general (kidneys and bladder). Urinary incontinence. Back pain with weak kidneys. Ulcerated bladder. Urinary discharges. Sugar in urine. Prostatitis. Vaginal infections with discharge (candida, etc.). Blood in urine or stool. Intestinal infections with painful diarrhea.
