Part Used: Root. Red Root is known to have an affinity for the lymph system and spleen; moves blood. Chronic swollen lymph glands. Tonsilitis, sore throat (locally and systemic). Ear inflammation. Liver congestion, portal vein congestion. Enlarged spleen; mononeucleosis. Proneness to bleeding, hemmorhage. Heavy menstrual bleeding; painful, heavy periods. Chronic bronchitis, whooping cough.
