Part Used: Herb. Peppermint has both cooling and warming properties; another of the "thinking herbs". Nausea, vomiting. Irritable bowel syndrome, colitis. Indigestion, gas. Liver congestion, hepatitis. Parasites. Acute cold and flu. Painful menstruation. Migraine and other headaches with gastric disturbance. Dizziness. To dry breast milk. Has anti-viral and bacterial properties. Used externally for muscle pain, rheumatism.
