Part Used: Herb. Meadowsweet's anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties are in part due to it's high salycilic acid content. Inflammatory arthritis, gout, and other conditions with redness and swelling. Sudden onset of fever. Headache (esp. with gastric symptoms) Neuralgias. Inflammations of mouth, eyes, skin, nerves, joints, muscles, urinary tract. Stomach hyperacidity/ulcers. Gastric reflux.
