Part Used: Herb. Eyebright is best known for its affinity to the eyes and use in acute or chronic eye problems: irritation of eyes or eyelids, acute or chronic discharges, irits, keratitis and blepharitis, poor eyesight due to strain, film on eye, supportive in cataract, Also externally as wash for all of the above. Eyebright is also an important anti-mucous herb used in hay fever symptoms (with runny nose, itching eyes), post nasal drip, child's runny nose, head cold. Drain sinus pressure on ears.
