Ask the Herbalist

Dear Bob Liebert,

I have been experiencing really bad headaches caused by paprika or any of its related family of spices. This is a delayed allergen reaction by 22-24 hours with severe headache only over the RT eye, sick to my stomach, trembling and coldness over entire body. The symptoms start slowly and peak 24-28 hours after ingestion of any type of Paprika or products containing such. It has taken me years to find out what was causing these symptoms. I believe from other web sites that it has to do with intestinal wall irritation. What would you suggest to help?

Thank you, Mark

Dear Friend,

I would suggest combining the extracts of CHAMOMILE, MEADOWSWEET and NETTLES as a means to soothe the intestinal tract and tone down allergic response. I also have a very good HEADACHE Formula to use in several doses at first sign of headache.

Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
