Dear Bob Liebert,
I have regular heavy menstrual bleeding for the last 6 years. I am
47. Large clots that cause very fast discharge when they come out. Not
too much discomfort. I'm determined to get thru this naturally but it's
becoming a problem.

Dear Friend,
I would recommend the BLACK HAW
BARK extract, taken twice daily for a period of time as a toner
and hormonal balncer. A week before expected period (otherwise with
bleeding), SHEPHERD'S PURSE
extract can be taken 3 x a day; doses can also be taken every couple
of hours for more acute bleeding. It is traditionally used for menstrual
bleeding with clots and profuse flow. The Shepherd's Purse has to be
taken as a fresh herb extract. I would experiment with these; other
herbs to maybe add could be Witch Hazel (intermenstrual bleeding), and
maybe more hormonal-balancing herbs. What is the history of how this
began?
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
