Dear Bob Liebert,

I have EXTREME irritablity with PMS. I also have some mild depression. I just had a baby 2&1/2 months ago and my libido is gone. I am on the depo shot for birth control. I tried this cause I saw a show on PMS and it said that when hormones are out of balance it makes some people extremely moody and irritable. It suggested that women get progestrone injections. My OBGYN mentioned the shot. Well it's was a huge mistake because I feel that the irritabilty has turned into full blown rage. So I'm assuming that my hormones are all out of whack. I have a 4 year old also and after having her I was put on many different medications that all had side affects. I would like to try something more natural. I'm hoping herbs can help. I've read many of the herbs and formulas, but there's so many that I need a suggestion for all my issues. HELP! Thank You

Kimberly

Dear Friend,

I'm surprised your doctor would give you such a powerful hormone shot so soon after delivering, when the hormones are out of whack to begin with. I would recommend my MNPS Formula for hormonal balance. It is taken beginning a few days after menstrual cycle, and then stopped when cycle is established. The NERVAID Formula has Valerian, Passion Flower and Skullcap; all herbs that are used to relieve nervous tension in PMS, taken as needed. Chamomile tea is good also.

Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
