Dear Bob Liebert,
I have been suffering from body odor since I was a teenager. I've
asked a doctor about it and he wasn't able to help me. I use deodorant
and that doesn't help. I also take at least 2 showers a day. Even then,
as soon as I start sweating in my armpits it gives off a strong odor.
It's very embarrasing and makes me very insecure all the time. I think
I may have some kind of problem with digestion where my body lacks some
kind of enzyme to break down or that I might just have some kind of
bacteria. I just don't know. Could you reccomend ANYTHING for me, or
have you heard of any condition similar that I could research further.
I would really appreciate it.
Dear Friend,
If the liver, bowels and kidneys are functioning well, there shouldn't
be such a problem, as there wouldn't be so many toxins released through
the skin for bacteria to jump on. I would suggest taking my herbal extracts
of DANDELION ROOT, CLEAVERS
and THUJA (the last in smaller
doses). SAGE extract can be taken
to tone down over-profuse sweating, but that isn't the cause of the
odor itself.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
