Ask the Herbalist

Dear Bob Liebert,

I have been having mid-cycle spotting which is now increasing in days. I have been told it's because of hormonal imbalance. How can I correct this problem? I am 34 years old with no children. Thank you.

Dear Friend,

A few herbs that aid hormonally, as well help stop bleeding in mid-cycle spotting, are BLACK HAW, ALUM ROOT, BETH ROOT, LADY'S MANTLE and YARROW. One would have to look at functional problems as well, such as fibroids, endometriosis etc.

Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
