Dear Bob Liebert,
I have suffered many years with a condition that the MD's called "foliculitis."
This condition of painful pus filled pimples on the scalp does not respond
to changes in shampoo or very well to antibiotics. It is bacterial in
nature and no one seems to know how to help in any way after the prescriptions
fail. It is odd in that it comes and goes through the year for no apparent
reason. I can't believe I just have to live with this condition. So
what do you think? Any suggestions? Thank you for your time and effort!
Allan
Dear Friend,
See our SKINTONE FORMULA
with such blood-purifying skin herbs as Yellow Dock and Burdock, and
combine with ECHINACEA extract
for internal use. It probably comes and goes according to the state
of your immune system. A CALENDULA
Extract (diluted) wash would be good externally as would GOLDEN
SEAL (a little stronger, esp. on areas where the slight yellow
stain wouldn't matter). Our HERBAL
SALVE is good for drier patches that are healing or itching.
Use acidophilus or live cultured yoghurt.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
