Dear Bob Liebert,
I have calcium oxalate stones - Is there an herb that can help dissolve
these stones? I am taking gravel root - which I understand helps to
balance the PH in the body.

Dear Friend,
Herbs are traditionally used to prevent the formation of stones,.
and facilitate their easy passage. They can possibly dissolve some
stones. I would suggest the addition of Hydrangea Root, used to ease
the passage and as a preventative. Cleavers is also good for stones.
I would also suggest an herb like Nettle to provide the body with
easily absorbable calcium, which your body will absorb and won't have
to be leached out of the system. Some suggest the use of a teaspoon
of good apple cider vinegar from the health food store as a preventative.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
You can buy these herbs and many more in the Formula and
Single
Herb sections of the Teeter Creek Herb website. Herbs that don't appear in the Formula or Single Herb lists can usually be requested in the "Message" section at the bottom of the order page.
