Dear Bob Liebert,
I am obese and was diagnosed with seven small fibroids last July.
My doctor said they were too small to cause any problems but I have
very heavy periods with a lot of clots and pain when urinating. I
started bleeding between cycles and my doctor put me on birth control
pills but after a month I started feeling increased pain in my lower
abdomen, my lower right side and my back and I am tired of conventional
medicine can you recommend any herbs I can use.
Erica
Dear Friend,
I would suggest the following extracts taken together: Beth Root,
Shepherd's Purse and Squaw Vine. All three aid in menstrual bleeding
(from fibroids as well) , long cycles, and the latter two are tonics
that address urinary tract problems that accompany uterine dysfunction.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
You can buy these herbs and many more in the Formula and
Single
Herb sections of the Teeter Creek Herb website. Herbs that don't appear in the Formula or Single Herb lists can usually be requested in the "Message" section at the bottom of the order page.
