Dear Bob Liebert,
What is a good herb for gastritis or a combination that is helpful?
I've heard that artichoke maybe good for that but can't really find
any information to substantiate that the claims. Thank you for any
help or information.
Signed,
Mike
Dear Friend,
The herbal approach is to use herbs that are digestive aids with
demulcent (coating, soothing) and aromatic digestives. Small doses
of herbs likeGolden Seal and Calamus (Sweet Flag) are very good digestive
aids; Fenugreek Seeds and Slippery Elm as demulcents (as infusions)
; and an herb like Fennel as an aromatic. Meadowseet is demulcent
and a digestive aid. Our Digestaid Formula is very
good in gastritis, to which our Fenugreek and a little Golden Seal
extract can be added, and powdered Slippery Elm stirred into a little
water.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
You can buy these herbs and many more in the Formula and
Single
