Dear Bob Liebert,
What would herb would be good for gout? If I try what you say should
I stop taking my RXs ? The doctor has me on allapurenoal, & cylbrex.
Jim
Dear Friend,
Herbs that are traditional blood-purifiers are combined with herbs
that get rid of excess uric acid in the system. The three herbs I
have seen very good results with are Juniper Berry, Yellow Dock and
Nettles. These should help prevent attacks; Meadowsweet can be added
for pain relief, and a Comfrey poultice is very good. These should
not interfere with medications, but I think it would be worth trying
the herbs alone.
Thanks,
Bob
You can buy these herbs and many more in the Formula and
Single
Herb sections of the Teeter Creek Herb website. Herbs that don't appear in the Formula or Single Herb lists can usually be requested in the "Message" section at the bottom of the order page.
