Ask the Herbalist

Dear Bob Liebert,

I've had gallbladder spasms for 5 years and have tried many natural treatments including flushes, herbs, acupuncture and diet. Nothing seems to help. Do you know anyone who has recovered from chronic gallbladder spasm?

Patricia

Dear Friend,

The herb that is considered a specific for gall bladder spasm is Wild Yam. Dandelion Root can be taken as a daily tonic as well, that keeps the liver and gall bladder in good working order. The Wild Yam liquid extract, taken in a lttle warm water is the best way to go.

Thanks,
Bob
