Dear Bob Liebert,
I have trochanteric bursitis and illitibial band tendonitis of the
right hip. It is very inflamed and swollen. What do you recommend
for immediate relief? I'm desperate. It's very painful and I can't
do any of my normal activities like exercising.
Barb
Dear Friend,
For tendinitis and bursitis I have seen good results with the anti-inflammatories
Black Cohosh, Wild Yam and Prickly Ash (see our Inflammaid
Formula). Pleurisy Root helps maintain serous fluid in the
bursa. Comfrey Leaf extract, or a poultice of Comfrey is used externally.
Thanks,
Bob
You can buy these herbs and many more in the Formula and
Single
Herb sections of the Teeter Creek Herb website. Herbs that don't appear in the Formula or Single Herb lists can usually be requested in the "Message" section at the bottom of the order page.
